1. Hazard Assessment & Fluid Types
Clean Water Standard
Allows brief swimming. Watch your blue oxygen meter closely; submerge only to reach lower bypass tubes.
Acid / Sludge Rapid Drain
Deals tick damage on contact. You cannot swim—falling in burns through health in less than 3 seconds.
Lava / Magma Instant KO
Zero tolerance. Instant wipe upon touching the surface. Treat all lower surfaces as lava-active the instant water sounds trigger.
2. Movement & Climbing Physics
Camera & Third-Person Distance
Never play zoomed all the way in. Zoom your camera back 3–5 scrolls and tilt slightly downward. This gives 360° visibility of rising water levels, nearby ladders, and falling obstacles overhead.
Use Shift-Lock for tight beam parkour
Ladder & Truss Centering
Trusses and ladders have collision edges that can slip your avatar sideways. Always align yourself squarely in the center of the rung before pressing forward, and avoid jumping while already climbing.

3. Common Rookie Traps & How to Avoid Them
1. Following the Crowd
The Mistake: Rushing the single most obvious ladder with 10 other players.
The Fix: Crowds collide and block jumps. Look for secondary scaffolding or wall trusses with clear lanes.
2. Ground-Floor Scavenging
The Mistake: Pausing to hunt coins or badges in the first 15 seconds.
The Fix: Secure mid-tier elevation immediately. Once safely above the initial surge, check for loot on safe ledges.
3. Panic Spacebar Spam
The Mistake: Repeatedly tapping jump when water touches your feet.
The Fix: Panic jumping burns momentum and clips under hangings. Take steady, measured jumps right off the outer lip.
4. Trapped in Elevators & Tubes
The Mistake: Relying on slow motorized elevators or enclosed capsules.
The Fix: If power cuts or water overtakes the shaft, you drown with no exit. Always prefer open climbable structures.
4. Round Timeline Strategy & Final Stand
00:00 - 00:20 (Scout Phase)
Locate the tallest crane, tower, or mountain pillar before the flood siren ends. Pick your route and start running immediately.
00:20 - 01:00 (Ascent Phase)
Climb past the 50% height mark. Do not stop to watch the water level. Stay at least 2 platform levels above the waterline.
01:00+ (Endgame Peak)
Reach the pinnacle. If space is tight, stand still on the highest beam. Do not push other players—avatar physics can bounce you off.
Golden Survival Rule
When in doubt, choose height over safety rooms. Rooms flood into dead ends; open roofs give jump options.
