Game 2: Butterfly Tag Skill: Soft Touches

Setup: Select 3-4 "Butterflies" who wear pinnies or hold soft cones. All other athletes run freely inside the gym.

Play: Butterflies try to tag other athletes. To tag, they must apply a "Butterfly Touch" (soft two-finger tap) on the shoulder or upper back. No hard slapping!

Safe Restart: When tagged, the student must freeze, count to 5, perform 5 star-jumps to "recharge their bubble," and run back into play. If a Butterfly tags too hard, they lose their butterfly status and sit out for 1 round to reset.

Game 3: Freeze & Fold Transition Skill: Active Lines & Self-Control

Setup: Scatter equipment (balls, cones, beanbags) around the gym.

Play: Students are moving, carrying, or tossing equipment. Suddenly, the teacher shouts: "Athletes, get ready!"

Action: Students must instantly drop equipment, freeze, fold hands behind their back, look at the teacher, and yell: "Ready to learn!" Measure how many seconds it takes for the whole gym to go completely quiet. Aim for under 5 seconds!
