Instructions for your 3-Night Sleep Study
The Mission
To determine if Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) helps your body transition into sleep more effectively. You will be acting as both the Scientist and the Subject.
Duration

The Laboratory Rules
Consistency
Try to start your PMR routine at the same time each night of the experiment.
Zero Screens
Once you start your "Power Down" sequence, no tablets, TVs, or phones.
Honest Data
If you forget a night, that's okay! Just note it in your journal and resume the next night.
The Setting
Make sure your "lab" (bedroom) is comfortable—cool temperature and dark.
Standard Operating Procedure

Get into bed and lie on your back. Take 3 deep, slow breaths.

Perform the 5-step PMR sequence from your "Night Switch" guide.
