1 Vocabulary (1 Min)
Model pronunciation slowly. Have students mirror your mouth shape for the "r" in robe and the nasal "an" in blanc. Use the phonetics as a bridge.
2 Listening (1 Min)
Read twice. First listen, then students raise hands for keywords.
"Bonjour ! Chanel présente une robe noire. Le sac est blanc. C'est élégant."
3 Speaking & Production (2-3 Mins)
Pair students for dialogue. Walk around and listen for the sentence stems: "J'aime le noir" or "J'aime le blanc."
Teacher Tips
- Visual Focus: Use the icons on the worksheet to build direct concept-to-word links. If a student forgets the meaning of "robe," point to the dress icon.
- Phonetic Support: Remind students the "s" in sac is unvoiced /s/. In blanc, the "c" is silent.
Worksheet Key
1. Vêtements: Icon of dress = une robe | Icon of bag = un sac
2. Couleurs: Circle color = student choice | Labels = noir / blanc
3. Exit Ticket: Correct use of "J'aime le..." or "La robe est..." followed by a color (noir/blanc).
