(Slide 3): Introduce mnemonic. Practice "Three Whistle Blasts." SIT is vital—staying put makes rescue easier. 15-20m First Aid Basics (Slide 4): Minor injuries. Message: "Tell an Adult." Discuss why we don't pop blisters and how to scrape a stinger. Discussion Prompts "Buddy steps off trail?" Remind them to stay on path or both go together while staying in sight of trail.
