Placement, muscle tension, and "snap" into position.
| Arms are soft or misplaced. Poms are often below shoulder height or "noodly." | Most motions are clear and hit on the correct count. Good tension in arms. | Exceptional "snap" in every move. Motions are locked in and perfectly placed. |
|
Performance Energy
Facial expressions, enthusiasm, and "stage presence."
| Expression is blank or looks nervous. Little connection with the audience. | Consistent smiling and eye contact. Shows genuine excitement for the routine. | Radiates "Under the Sea" joy! High energy from start to finish. Infectious smile. |
|
Transitions & Flow
Formation changes, timing, and choreography memory.
| Frequent pauses to remember steps. Gets lost during formation changes. | Smooth transitions between spots. Knows the sequence with few errors. | Flawless memory. Moves to new formations with purpose and high knees. |
|
