Formative Check 9-10 Total Points
Task Description & Purpose
Students complete a 9-10 item formative check assessing their mastery of physical education procedures, safety protocols, and daily behavioral standards. This assessment confirms every student understands how to cultivate an inclusive, safe, and high-energy learning space from Day 1.
Targeted Learning Objectives
1. Arrival & Daily Routine
Identify the entry procedure: quickly and quietly line up, stow personal items in designated locker areas, take assigned seating, and prepare for roll call.
2. Safety & Preparedness
Recognize required athletic wear (sneakers, gym shorts/sweatpants). Understand that roughhousing and unsafe horseplay are prohibited at all times.
3. Conduct & Sportsmanship
Demonstrate positive sportsmanship, encouraging peers, giving full physical effort, and communicating with respectful language in every activity.
4. Grading & Care of Gear
Understand that grades reflect holistic effort, participation, skill progress, and equipment care—not just athletic tournament wins.
Classroom Accountability & Discipline Flow
1st Infraction • Tier 1 Verbal redirection & expectation reset from Coach Anthony.
Subsequent Steps • Tier 2 Parent contact, temporary timeout/sit-out, LiveSchool point deductions, or Jupiter referral.
