The Coercion Guard
Online coercion is when someone uses pressure or tricks to make you do something you aren't comfortable with. They use flattery, isolation, and urgency to control the situation.
Flattery "You're the only one who understands me."
Isolation "Don't tell your parents, it's a secret."
Urgency "Do this now or we aren't friends."
Case Study: The "Coach"
Maya (12) meets "Coach_V" (25) in a game. He says she's a "pro," offers free skins, and moves them to a private app. He tells her not to tell her parents because "they'll make you stop." Then, he asks for a photo of her in pajamas "holding her headset" to make her a custom banner.
