- Measuring spoon (1 tbsp)
- Cutting board & butter knife
- Rubber spatula & 2 glasses
Ingredients Checklist
1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen, stems removed) 1 medium ripe banana (peeled & broken in chunks) ½ cup milk (dairy, oat, almond, or soy) ½ cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla) 1 tbsp honey or pure maple syrup ½ cup ice cubes (optional if fruit is frozen)
Blender Golden Rule
Always pour liquids first near the blades. It helps the motor spin without getting stuck!
Step-by-Step Method
-
1
Prep the Fruit
Rinse strawberries under cold water and slice off green tops. Peel the banana and break into 4-5 chunks.
-
2
Layer the Blender
Pour in the milk and Greek yogurt first. Next, drop in banana chunks, strawberries, honey, and ice cubes on top.
-
3
Lock & Blend
Secure lid tightly with your hand on top. Start on LOW for 10 seconds, then increase to HIGH for 35–45 seconds until silky smooth.
-
4
Check Consistency & Taste
Turn blender OFF completely. If too thick, splash in 2 tbsp extra milk and pulse. If too thin, add 2 more ice cubes.
-
5
Pour & Serve
Pour evenly into two glasses. Garnish with a fresh strawberry slice on the rim. Serve immediately!

Step 1 & 2: Prep & The Blender Rule
How you load ingredients makes all the difference for the motor!
1
Prep Your Fruit
- Rinse fresh strawberries gently under cold running water.
- Slice off green leafy tops (the hull) using your butter knife.
- Peel the banana and snap it into 4-5 bite-sized chunks.
