• Print/fold mini-books for each child.
• Cut movement cards.
• Portion tuna/salmon and seaweed squares.
• Check for fish/shellfish allergies!

Gather children. Read the "My Seafood Story" book. Discuss how seafood like tuna and seaweed helps our brains. Use slides for visuals.

Use the Ocean Motion Cards . Get students moving by mimicking fish and seaweed. "Wiggle like seaweed", "Swim fast like a tuna!"

Seaweed Sushi Bites Taste Test
Guide children through making a mini sushi bite (fish inside seaweed). Ask sensory questions while they eat.
• Is it crunchy or soft? • Does it taste like the salty ocean?

Ingredients
Roasted Seaweed Snacks
Canned Tuna or Salmon
Cooked Rice (optional)
Note
Preschoolers love the "snap" of roasted seaweed. This recipe focuses on simple assembly and sensory exploration.
How to make them

Lay out one small square of seaweed on a plate.

Put a tiny flake of tuna or salmon in the middle.

The Wrap: Use your fingers to roll the seaweed into a little tube.
4
Say "One, two, three... Shark Bite! " and crunch!
