The Great Recess Rebels
Mia, Leo, and Noah love PE class more than anything! Today, Mr. Green has a big surprise. "We are playing a new game called Balloon Tag!" he cheers. Everyone gets a colorful balloon to carry. The goal is to gently tag your friends' balloons without dropping yours!
As the whistle blows, everyone runs, skips, and laughs. Mia runs fast, but she notices Leo slip on the grass. Instead of running past him to win, Mia stops. She reaches out her hand and helps him stand back up. Leo smiles big and says, "Thank you, Mia! Good sportsmanship!"
Noah cheers loudly from across the field. "Way to go, team!" At the end of PE, everyone is out of breath but their faces are glowing with happiness. Mr. Green gives them all high-fives. "Having fun together and helping each other is how we truly win!" he says.

The Friendly Obstacle Course
On Wednesday, PE was outside. Mr. Green had set up hula hoops, orange cones, and a big crawling tunnel. "This is our Adventure Course!" he cheered. Noah was a little bit nervous. He had never crawled through a tunnel before and worried he might get stuck.
Mia and Leo saw Noah holding back. Instead of running ahead, they walked over with bright smiles. "We can do it together, Noah!" said Leo. Mia went first, showing him how easy it was. Leo cheered at the end: "You go, Noah!"
Noah took a deep breath, crawled through, and popped out the other side. He laughed and threw his hands in the air. "I did it!" he shouted. The friends did a giant three-way high-five. Trying new active games with buddies is always an adventure!

The High-Five Relay
It was the annual PE Field Day, and the team relay race was about to start. Leo's legs were shaking. He wanted his team to win, but he knew other runners were much faster than him. Mr. Green lined everyone up. "On your mark, get ready, go!"
Leo took the baton and sprinted as hard as he could. When he looked around, he saw Noah and Mia jumping up and down near the sidelines. "Go, Leo! You are doing amazing! Run, run, run!" they cheered at the top of their lungs, waving dynamic signs.
Leo felt a huge surge of energy! He crossed the line and handed off the baton. Even though their team came in second place, Leo felt like a complete superstar champion. "Your cheering made me run so fast!" he grinned. Cheering for friends is the absolute best part of active games.
