This activity is designed to help you explore the connection between your mind and body. You will complete exercises that include mindfulness and light movements. Follow the steps below and reflect on your experience.
Part 1: Mindfulness Exercise
Instructions:
Find a comfortable seated position. Sit with your back straight, relax your shoulders, and rest your hands on your lap.
Close your eyes gently. Begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.
Focus on your breath. As you breathe naturally, notice the air entering and leaving. If your mind wanders, gently bring your focus back.

Part 2: Light Physical Movement
Instructions:
Stand up slowly and find some space. Begin with a few simple stretches:
Neck stretches (tilt side to side)
Arm circles (small to large)
Gentle marching in place (30 seconds)
Combine your breathing: Coordinate your breath with your motion (e.g., inhale as you raise your arms).
