Game: The Vagus Relay
Students work in teams (Gut vs. Brain). The Gut team does physical work (squats) to 'synthesize' signals, then sends a runner across the Vagus Highway to deliver messages to the Brain team.

Day 1 Logic: When sugar drops, the Prefrontal Cortex loses power first. The Amygdala takes over. This is the physiological cause of snapping at others when hungry.
Day 2 Logic: Post-movement, the brain is in high 'neurogenesis'. Consuming amino acids helps 'lock in' the boost. The Vagus nerve is the physical conduit for these chemical safety signals.

Rules:
Assign 2 students as Insulin (Catchers) and 1 as Sugar Spike . The rest are Brain Cells .
Sugar Spike sprints in circles; while they move, Brain Cells can run anywhere.
If Insulin tags a Brain Cell, that student must freeze in a "crouch" position (Low Power Mode).
The Complex Carb Save: Every 3 minutes, the teacher calls "Oatmeal!" Brain Cells can link arms in pairs to become immune to Insulin for 60 seconds.
Pro-Tip
Use different colored pinnies for Insulin and the Spike to make them easily identifiable in the chaos.
Modifications
For smaller spaces, replace running with "Power Walking" or "Lunges" to keep heart rates up safely.

Brain Team: Must solve a "Synapse Riddle" (below) before the runner can return.
