00-15: Intro & Slides
Review 4-4-9 rule. Use the "Cracking the Code" slide to model one calculation.
15-20: Lab Setup
Divide students into "Lab Teams" of 2-3. Hand out worksheets and ensure device access.
20-40: Part 1 - Data Collection
Teams analyze Item A & B. Key focus: Accuracy of multiplication.
40-50: Part 2 - Plate Challenge
A quick "brainstorming" sketching session to apply the Plate Method concepts.
50-80: Part 3 - Digital Research (3 Meals)
Teams research Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. This is the core collaborative research phase.
80-90: Reflection & Share
Discussion: "Which meal surprised you most?" "Where were the hidden fats?"

Student Misconceptions
"Healthy means low calorie." Item B (Almonds) is high calorie due to healthy fats but is extremely nutrient-dense. Help students see density vs. calorie count.
"Carbs are only bread." Students often forget that fruits and vegetables are primarily carbohydrates (but with fiber!).
Research Facilitation
During Part 3, encourage groups to choose one "healthy" option and one "processed" option across their three meals to see the contrast in macro ratios (e.g., Oats for breakfast vs. a Fast Food Burger for lunch).
