Game Rules Cheat SheetOFFICIAL RULES Dodgeball Showdown Guide PLAY FAIR! 01 The Setup 6 vs. 6: Standard games are played with 6 players per side. The Balls: 5 foam balls start on the center line. The Rush: On the whistle, players sprint to the center to retrieve balls. Opening Rush: Balls must be brought back behind the "attack line" before they can be thrown. 02 Getting Out Direct Hits: If a player is hit by a ball that hasn't touched the floor, they are out. The Catch: If you catch a ball thrown at you, the thrower is out AND one of your eliminated teammates returns! Boundary Violations: Stepping over the center line or side boundaries results in an automatic out. 03 Safety First No Headshots: Throws above the shoulders do not count. The thrower is warned; the target stays in. Dead Balls: Once a ball hits the floor, wall, or another player, it is "dead" and cannot get anyone out until it's picked up and thrown again. Blocking: You may use a ball in your hands to block incoming shots. If you drop the ball you are using to block, you are out! 04 The Goal Eliminate!
