Origami Step-by-Step Worksheet Mastering Folds

Follow these steps carefully to create your origami figure. Remember: every crease counts! Press firmly with your fingernail to make your folds sharp.

The Foundation
Start with a square piece of paper. Fold it in half diagonally to form a triangle. Ensure the edges align perfectly.

Halving
Fold the triangle in half again to form a smaller triangle. Press down on the fold to make it crisp.

Right Corner Fold
Open up the last fold to return to the larger triangle. Fold the right corner to the top point. This forms a smaller triangle on the right side.

Left Corner Fold
Repeat the previous step with the left corner. You should now have a diamond shape.

The Finishing Touch
Fold the bottom corner of the top layer to the top point. This creates a smaller triangle on top of the diamond.
