The Wooden Puppet
A kind woodcarver named Geppetto carved a boy puppet out of pine wood and named him Pinocchio. At night, a magical Blue Fairy gave Pinocchio life! She promised he could become a real boy if he learned to be good, brave, and honest.

Trapped at the Circus
On his way to school, Pinocchio heard loud music. He followed the sound to a puppet circus show! The crowd cheered as he danced without strings. But the mean puppet master captured Pinocchio and locked him inside a cold iron cage! Pinocchio cried until the fairy helped him escape.

Tricked by Fox and Cat
Next, Pinocchio met a sly Fox and a sneaky Cat. They pretended to be friendly. They told him to bury his gold coins in the dirt so money trees would grow! It was a mean trick. While Pinocchio slept, the Fox and Cat dug up his gold and ran away with all of it.

The Growing Nose
When the Blue Fairy asked where his schoolbooks and coins were, Pinocchio felt ashamed. He told a lie! Immediately, his wooden nose began to grow. It grew longer and longer until it had leaves and bird nests! Pinocchio learned that lying never solves problems.

Brave Rescue & Real Boy
Pinocchio rushed home to apologize, but Geppetto had been swallowed by a giant sea whale while searching for him. Pinocchio bravely dived into the ocean and rescued his father! Because Pinocchio was truly brave and loving, the Fairy turned him into a real, happy boy.
