Encouraging Shy or Hesitant Speakers: “Take ten seconds of quiet thinking time. You can choose to say a short, simple sentence like ‘She ate an ice cream.’ Your sentence connects the whole chain!”

Differentiation for Varied Proficiency Levels

Low A1 Beginners

Limit to 3 emojis if needed. Accept Subject + Verb + Object structures: “Hajar saw a dog. The dog ran. They went home.”

Emerging A2 Learners

Enforce past tense endings (-ed and common irregulars) and at least two connectors (then, because).

Solid B1 Extensions

Challenge them to add character emotion adjectives (exhausted, thrilled, relieved) and complex linkers (while, although).
