If possible, use a real Pothos or Peace Lily plant for the drought demonstration. These plants "dramatically" wilt and perk up. Analogy: Brain cells are like these leaves. When they lose water, they literally "wilt" away from the skull, which causes headaches.
Common Misconceptions
"I don't need sleep." Students often boast about late nights. Redirect to the reaction time data: "You might feel okay, but your brain is missing its washing machine cycle."
"Water is boring." Remind them it's the brain's oil . A dry machine grinds and creates heat (anger/anxiety).
