Instructional Goal
To cement character recognition for 1, 2, and 3 using multisensory rhythmic cues and visual stacking logic.

Character: 一 (Yī)
Teacher Script:
"Look at this character. It's just one flat line. Like a pencil sleeping on a desk! Let's clap once and say 'Yī'. Ready? [CLAP] Yī!"
Movement: One crisp clap above the head.

Character: 二 (Èr)
Teacher Script:
"Now we have two lines. But look closely! The top line is a bit shy—it's shorter. The bottom line is longer. Let's clap twice and say 'Èr, Èr'. Ready? [CLAP, CLAP] Èr, Èr!"
Movement: Two claps, first low (near waist) then high (near chest).

Teacher Script:
"Three lines! It's like a sandwich. The middle line is the smallest—that's the yummy filling. The top and bottom are the bread. Let's clap three times. [CLAP, CLAP, CLAP] Sān, Sān, Sān!"
Movement: Three rhythmic claps in front of the heart.
Speed Round Challenge
Once students are comfortable, use the "Random Reveal" :
Flash a card or show a character on the slide.
Students must clap the correct amount and shout the name instantly.
Increase the speed as they get better!
