The 180-Minute Mission
This extended session allows for deeper, unhurried practice. Students will rotate through three specialized stations, spending 40 minutes at each to move past surface-level identification and into deep mastery of the TSIA2 ELAR sections.
Station 1: Grammar Grunts (Flashcards & Strips)
Focus: Standard English Conventions & Revision
Activity: 20 mins of "Speed Rounds" with flashcards, followed by 20 mins of Sentence Squad reconstruction missions.
Extended Goal: Students must write one original example sentence for every grammar rule they master.
Station 2: Intel Alpha (Context Cipher Cards)
Focus: Vocabulary-in-Context
Activity: Students use the "Context Cipher Cards" to identify and categorize clue types (Synonym, Antonym, Inference) before solving for meaning.
Station 3: Reading Recon (Deep Analysis)
Focus: Main Idea & Tone Evidence
Activity: Students complete the Reading Recon Worksheet, specifically focusing on the "Evidence Recon" sections that require citing specific textual support.
Extended Rotation Schedule (180 Min)
Phase Duration Activity Briefing 15 min Operational overview and high-intensity goal setting. Rotation 1 40 min Deep-dive at first station. Rotation 2 40 min Deep-dive at second station.
