Listening for Punctuation
Robots Don't Need to Breathe
Human readers pause when they see a period or comma because they need to take a breath.
But a robot will read a 100-word sentence without stopping if there are no periods!
The Run-On Alarm
If the TTS voice sounds like it is racing or "running out of breath," you've found a run-on sentence.

If the computer voice stops too early and sounds unfinished, you need to join sentences.

Don't try to finish the whole paragraph. Pause, fix the word, and then start again!
