Students will publish their dual-perspective stories and participate in a Point of View Gallery Walk to celebrate their work and provide peer compliments.

The Hook: The Gallery Curator

Transform the classroom! Dim the lights, play some jazz or museum-style background music. "Today, we are no longer writers. We are published authors. Our classroom is now the 'Perspective Gallery'. Please prepare your exhibits."

Action: Have students clear their desks and place their "Twin Tale" side-by-side with a small "Compliment Card" next to it.

Gallery Walk Protocol

Final Polishing

Students add illustrations and ensure their names are visible. Encourage them to use color to distinguish Draft A (1st Person) and Draft B (3rd Person).

The Silent Walk

Students rotate around the room in silence. At each station, they read BOTH versions of the story. They look for how the voice changed between the "I" story and the "He/She" story.

Compliment Cards

Each student must leave at least 3 Compliment Cards for different classmates. Compliments should be specific to POV (e.g., "I liked your 1st person voice!").

Teacher Tip: Carry around a "Golden Ribbon" (a gold sticker or paper) to award to stories that show the most creative voice change between the two versions.
