5 MINS

Warm-Up: Quality Control

Ask: "What does it mean to be a good friend?" Record key concepts on the board (sharing, listening, being nice). Use Slide 2.

5 MINS

Enter the Factory

Introduce the "Friendship Factory" concept. Explain that today we 'build' friendships using specific tools: kind words and actions. Use Slide 3.

7 MINS

The Tools of the Trade

Display examples of kind words/actions on Slide 4. Use the Conversation Starters to discuss why kindness matters (Slide 5).

10 MINS

The Assembly Line: Build-A-Friend

Divide students into groups of 2-3. Assign a scenario from the "Build-A-Friend" Game. Students act out scenarios focusing on kindness.

Pro-Tip for Supervisors:

Circulate the room. Offer "Kindness Quality Stamps" (verbal praise) for students using specific kind phrases mentioned in Slide 4.
